After writing 300+ scouting reports, hundreds of hours listening to analytical scouting podcasts, and countless long texts with friends debating various players, AJ's wife finally told him we should put this somewhere public to get eyes on all the effort he puts into this hobby.
You'll also see content from Kim since AJ coached her into a love for football (from a total rookie status), but this site is dedicated to all AJ's analytical documentation of all things NFL.

Because I like football and I like a lot and like thinking about it analytically, which requires me to watch tape and learn stats.
Too much to not have something to show for it, according to Kim. For each player I will watch at least three games before I come to a conclusion about what they are foundationally as a prospect.
Holding college production with what I see on tape, prospects are given a tape score that corelates with the type of player I think they will be in the NFL.
Post what I write. Share more resources/thoughts because I enjoy it and it seems to be helpful for some of my buddies or people learning about football for the first time (like Kim a few years ago).
THE Detroit Lions. (Although technically the blue in this brand's color scheme was independent of that.)
