Strengths

Athletic and mobile; can pick up chunk run plays as well as efficiently maneuver in the pocket.
Fantastic arm. He can throw a fast ball, a deep ball, and has great touch.
He makes high level throws and consistently shows he can throw his receivers open without putting the ball into harm’s way.
Works well through progressions.
Consistent footwork.
Good feel for the pocket but also responds well outside of structure.

Concerns/Weaknesses

Accuracy was inconsistent at times; more good than bad but specifically fluctuated in the short-to-intermediate game.
Inconsistent in throwing with anticipation.

Summary
The overall play at QB was much better than I anticipated, and I think his weakness can be ironed out over time. However, his time as a starter is the biggest issue here. One full year of staring, albeit in the SEC, makes for a risky proposition at the very top of the draft. Personally, I think he slots in perfectly for a team that is a year or two away from needing their next QB, because if you can give Ty a year, I would be confident in him taking the reins when his number is called. This is one where, come draft night, I suspect the tape grade and the draft grade will be at odds with each other.
